Instead, try this:
ā "Iām solving [X problem]. Hereās the team I think covers it ([LinkedIn link]). Hereās a draft messageācould you pls forward it?"
Now, helping is easyāno guesswork, no follow-ups. SIMPLE FORWARD.
The easier you make it, the more people will say yes.
